About Dr. Kobus
His special interests include minimally invasive fracture repair, sports and wrist injuries, and fractures, especially in young athletes. Dr. Kobus is also known for his treatment of arthritic conditions of the hand and wrist as well as carpal and cubital tunnel with endoscopic carpal tunnel release.
He began his journey to his career as a medical student at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. Upon graduation, Dr. Kobus completed his internship rotation and an orthopedic surgery residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. He rounded out his postdoctoral clinical training with a hand and microsurgery fellowship at Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.
When he isn’t busy helping his patients at Hand and Microsurgery Associates, Dr. Kobus is active with numerous professional medical societies, including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
